Kodavine LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services offered by Kodavine LLC, including our websites, web applications, mobile applications (such as the iPad Photo Booth app), and custom software development services. By using any of our products or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information depending on the product or service you use:
Personal Information: Name, email address, and other contact details you provide when submitting forms, creating accounts, or contacting us.
Payment Information: For our mobile applications, all payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details or billing information.
Device Data: Our mobile applications may access device features such as the camera, location services, and device identifiers. This data is used solely to provide app functionality (e.g., photo capture in the iPad Photo Booth app).
Photos: Photos captured through our iPad Photo Booth app are stored on-device only. We do not upload, transmit, or store your photos on any external server.
Usage Data: We may collect non-personally identifiable information about how you interact with our websites and applications, including pages visited, features used, and general usage patterns.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To deliver, maintain, and improve our products and services
- To respond to your inquiries, support requests, and communications

3. Third-Party Services
Our products and services may integrate with or rely on the following third-party services:
- Apple: Handles all in-app payment processing and app distribution through the App Store. Apple’s privacy policy governs their collection and use of your data.
- Google Fonts: Our websites load fonts from Google’s content delivery network. Google may collect anonymized usage data when fonts are loaded. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
- Fluent Forms: Our websites use the Fluent Forms plugin to process contact form submissions. Form data is stored on our website server and is not shared with third parties.
4. Data Storage and Retention
Website Data: Information submitted through contact forms on our websites is stored on our web server. We retain this data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law.
Mobile App Data: Data generated by our mobile applications, including photos and app settings, is stored on-device. We do not maintain copies of this data on our servers.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data under applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right of Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out: You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Kodavine LLC does not sell personal data.

6. Children’s Privacy
Our products and services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
7. Cookies and Tracking
Our websites use standard WordPress cookies that are essential for site functionality, such as session management and authentication. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising tracking cookies. No personally identifiable information is collected through cookies on our websites.
8. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our contact forms include honeypot and token-based protections to prevent spam and abuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, Kodavine LLC will notify affected individuals and relevant regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable laws, including the GDPR and applicable US state breach notification statutes. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notification within the timeframes required by law.
For users of our mobile applications, breach notifications will be sent via the email address associated with the Apple ID or account used to download the application from the App Store, where such contact information is available to us. For website users, notifications will be sent to the email address provided through contact form submissions or account registration.
10. Business Transitions
In the event that Kodavine LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users of any change in ownership or control of their personal information and any choices they may have regarding their data. The acquiring entity will be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy with respect to any personal data collected prior to the transfer. If Kodavine LLC ceases operations, we will take reasonable steps to delete or securely destroy all personal data in our possession, unless retention is required by law.
11. Data Processing for Business Clients
When Kodavine LLC provides custom software development services, we may process data on behalf of our business clients. In such cases, the client acts as the data controller and Kodavine LLC acts as the data processor. The handling of any personal data processed on behalf of a client is governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) between Kodavine LLC and the client, not by this Privacy Policy. If you have questions about how your data is handled in connection with a product or service built by Kodavine LLC for a third-party client, please contact that client directly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
